Hot Chocolate, Here I Come!

School....

   Okay, I know, I'm a terrible, mean person for bringing this up.  Our table is overloaded.  Oh, and that's just a small fraction of the supplies.  School is almost(or is) here.  Where has this summer went?

    I need to apologize.  I have not kept up with the statement I made in June(Oh, June, beautiful, start-of-summer June, where have you went?).  More frequent blog posts in summer didn't really happen.  Sorry, seriously, I'm sorry.  I love blogging.  The photograpy, the writing, the connecting with people.  It's all so much fun.  It's hard work though!  Hats off to all those amazing bloggers out there that somehow(How, how, how do they manage?) get a post out there everyday!  Seriously, that's something to be proud of, bloggers!  In the beginning of this blog, I was posting a post almost everyday.  However, as I got more into it, adding the Pin It and Print It buttons and props to photos made it a little bit more time consuming to publish a post.  But, man did it get a lot more fun!   I seriously am so thankful for this little journal of my recipes, crafts, and happy moments.  Seriously!  I am also so thankful for all you readers!  You put so many smiles on my faces!  I love seeing that pageviews number go up and up and up!  Thanks!  

Cottage Smiles and Laughs

   I had so much fun!  Many of my other family members met my family up at our cottage.  We had a blast!  A total blast.  Swimming(lots and lots of that), hiking, sight seeing, and chilling out made an action packed weekend!  A fun, action packed weekend.

It's Summer!

Happy Summer!  School's out!  Time for more blog posts and tons of summer fun!    

      The school year went by fast....but, I am totally ready for summer!   Swimming,  sunshine, and happiness.  It all makes up for the frigid winter!:). 

       I keep thinking about Monday and a full week of school ahead, but, no, that's not true!  Yay! It's summer!  More time for  family, friends, sunshine, fun, and blog posts!

Vegetable Gardens

    I love vegetable gardens!  There is something special about biting into a healthy, crunchy, crisp vegetable that you grew in your garden.  I get so excited when I start to see little strawberries and tomatoes peeking.  Did you ever know growing vegetables could bring that much excitement?

   We usually plant our veggies when there is no threat of frost; nobody likes a dead vegetable garden! Some vegetables are ready to eat soon after we plant them; others come several months later (SO HARD TO WAIT!).

   If you are thinking about starting your own vegetable garden soon, let me be the one to convince you to do so!  Sure there are weeds, but doesn't biting into crisp, healthy vegetables make up for that?

Spring Joy

      I am so happy to see these cute, purple flowers popping up for my family to see.  I couldn't resist posting a picture of this.    

   

       Taking a jog, smelling the flowers, and hearing birds chirp makes me feel all happy inside.   

Spring has finally arrived!  Yippee!
