I did it everyone! I actually water marbled! Better yet, it worked. Using this method, anyone, even if you're terrible with nail art can do this. It's awesome!
The results on each nail are unique. The designs are all twirly, but different in color tones and pattern.
Okay, let's talk color choices. Make sure you choose colors that go well together. You're going to need at least two. Don't feel limited to two though.
Give your nails a base coat. Once again, make sure the base coat color goes well with your other colors. White is my favorite color to use for a base coat. It gives the marbled nails a nice pop and clean look.
Tape time! In order to prevent the nail polish from going all over your hand rather than your nail, we'll use some tape. Check out this video I found on Youtube. It shows an easy way to prep your nails with tape.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8nEJsWeVpM I suggest prepping all your nails at the same time.
Ready to get to the fun? Let's go!
Fill a cup with water, The temperature really doesn't matter.
Dip your brush into the bottle. Make sure to avoid wiping the brush on the side of the bottle; we want lots of polish on the brush so it drops onto the water easy.
Let the polsih drip from the brush onto the water.
Repeat with many colors. Each drop should land somewhere on the previous drop.
Using a toothpick, whirl your polish around. I like to swirl it in a circle.
Repeat with other nails...
Ta-da!
Using a Q-tip, remove any nail polsih that snuck on your skin.
