This frosting may have just became my favorite. Sorry all the other frostings....I still think you're very tasty, though.
Only making your own caramel sauce is a pretty cool thing to start with. Making a caramel frosting, well that's just amazing!
I do, however, need to warn you, this frosting is addictive. Once you've had a bite, you'll have another, and another. That salty, sweet, creamy texture pulls you in. I'm just warning you....from personal experience. My dad is an example. He looked at the cupcake with this delicious frosting, took a bite, decided it was tastier than he could imagine, and happily ate two. Let's just say he's not the only one.
Top a fudge cupcake with this salted caramel frosting and BAM! There you have one of the most delicious cupcakes in the world. Pretty cool, am I right?
There really isn't any way for you not to like this frosting, though. Caramel, creamy, salty, all whipped into one crazy, tasty frosting.
