Breakfast Balls with Raspberry Dip




   This is such a GOOD recipe in many ways!  Yes, notice many.  Good tasting....oh yeah!  Good for you....of course!

    Let's talk about taste.  A beautiful ball of goodness.....chock full of delicious grains and elements of sweetness and cinnamon.  Ummmm....excuse me please, I think I am going to go eat a breakfast ball.  

   Yes, I did mention tasting good and being healthy.  These tasty balls have whole grains, flaxseeds and more.  Oh yeah, the honey and cherries add sweetness....not pure sugar.  

   Let's not forget this simple, delicious dip.  Cream cheese and raspberry preserves.  You get that cream cheese taste and then sweetness and raspberries.  Yum! This makes it.  

   I'll let you actually make these tasty bites, but first, let me tell you about the things you can do with these breakfast balls.  
1. Eat them just like they are.  Dip in raspberry dip.  
 2.  Use crumbs or crush balls to make granola/trail mix.
3. Use crumbs or crush balls.  Spread dip on toast. Sprinkle with crumbs. 
I bet you can come up with even more ideas!  These are just a few ideas....


-Breakfast Balls-
Ingredients
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour 
1/4 cup Flax Seeds
3/4 cup Rolled Oats
1 cup Milk
3 Tbs. Honey 
3 Tbs. Butter
Dried Cherries (optional.....amount depends on your liking.) 
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Mix dry ingredients. (Not the cherries.) 
Pour in the milk and honey.
Mix together.
Melt the butter.  Pour in.
Mix together very well.  The texture should be like cookie dough.
Fold in cherries.
Fill an ice cream scooper (Yes, an ice cream scooper.) with your mixture.  Pop out the mixture and roll into balls.  The scooper helps shape and portion all the breakfast balls.  The balls should be about golf ball size.
Pop these tasties in the oven for 7-9 minutes. 
-Raspberry Dip-
Ingredients
1/2 cup Cream Cheese 
2 Tbs. Raspberry Preseves
Directions
Beat together cream cheese and raspberry preserves. 
ENJOY!
