Modern Paper Sculpture

This is a very modern statue craft....It is very abstract and unique.  The great thing is, all the statues will turn out different, due to all the choices you have. I LOVE this art project!  

Markers, glue(I used hot glue.), scissors, white flimsy paper(printer paper), and sturdy paper(card stock).  That's all you need. 

Draw different designs all over your white, flimsy paper.  Be abstract.  You'll eventually cut it up, so don't make it complicated. Repeat with another sheet of paper. 

Cut each piece of paper into eighths. Since you should have two papers full of designs, you will have sixteen pieces. 

Using a pencil, roll each paper piece.  

Place some glue at the end of the paper piece.  

Now, you have a statue piece.  Continue with all your paper pieces

Now, the fun part!  

Start gluing your pieces!
